This year's Kick Childhood Cancer Kit honors the Battery's own Rachel Edwards who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. She was an advocate and role model for children fighting cancer, as she was a childhood cancer survivor herself. The kit design uses handprints of kids actively fighting cancer and incorporates Rachel's signature in dedication to her legacy. Proceeds from each jersey will support the Rachel Jean Edwards Pediatric Oncology Fund at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital.
